Dreaming is for free!
Many of us are still hunkered down at home and certainly not out and about -
but in spite of everything it is always a good idea to have dreams and a positive outlook on the future.
And what better way to dream than writing a travel bucket list with all the places you would love to go to once you can?
Get inspired by one of our past and maybe most favorite trips to the
stunning and pristine West Coast of Australia.

Western Australia
When talking about travelling to Australia the immediate thought is the East Coast with with it's bustling hubs like Sydney and Melbourne and famous stretches of coastline including the dreamy Whitsunday Islands.
This time we decided to explore the other side of the enormous continent - Western Australia! We fell in love completely.
There’s just something about the grandeur of it all, the vastness, the enormity… and the lack of masses of people that immediately grabbed our heart and wouldn’t let it go!

Margaret River
And you can’t come to Margaret River and not savour some of the delicious local produce, wine and treats that are grown and developed in this rich area. From open cellar doors to farmers markets, it’s all here for the tasting and a drive along Caves Road will give you more options than you can ever hope to fit into your time.
Afterwards, move south and check out Augusta. The bottom of the peninsula, this spot will give you a great chance to snap the tallest lighthouse in Australia and even spot whales between the months of June – September.
Moving down the coastline you have to make a stop at Hamelin Bay where giant rays can be seen right from the shoreline! They are unbothered by humans and swim up to you when you walk through the shallow water. Additionally the shore is framed by stunning white rock formations that makes the water's intense colour stand out even more.

Denmark & surroundings
A must-visit when staying in this area Greens Pools. It is a sandy white beach ringed by large granite boulders that prevent the swell of the the Southern Ocean reaching the shoreline - the perfect place to enjoy a a beautiful swim, go snorkeling or just sit in the shallow water and soak up the sun.
After exploring the outdoors and working up your hunger you can skip up to the cute town of Denmark. For lunch you can give the award winning savoury pies and pastries at Denmark Bakery a try.
We ended the day with a walk around Boston Brewery's vines and yard and enjoyed a selection of homemade beer and delicious healthy food options while watching the sunset.

Esperance
The final days of your West Coast Australia road trip, could have hardly been better spent than at one of the Western Australia's most fabulous stretches of coastline. Cape Le Grand National Park in the hinterlands of Esperance is a real treasure where you can find new beautiful bays and beaches every day.
We have rarely seen sand this white and crisp clear water in all shades of blue, from light sparkling turqouise to mesmerizing dark blue. Go to 'Lucky Bay' to see it's resident kangaroos that love to lounge on the beaches here and aren't shy of humans.
The best 360' panoramic view over the National Park you will find atop of the 'Frenchmen's Peak', the highest mountain top the National Park. The hike is quite steep across rocks so make sure you were the proper footwear when you make your way up.
We ended our week long road trip with a drive into the sunset on the Great Ocean Drive which gave us amazing final views of the coast here.
We will be back for sure!

Always with us on this beautiful road trip were our brand new SEA ESCAPE Slides. They are unbelievable comfy and the perfect shoe to slip into once you leave the beach.
